Our solid color Pearlray string is available in two options: a standard weight and a heavy-weight. This is a synthetic 2-ply string with a lustrous sheen that accentuates its braided profile in bold relief. We stock our solid color Pearlray in a range of standard hues, which may vary from time to time. For very large orders, we can also have solid color Pearlray made matched to the color of your choice. We always stock black and white, among a few others, as well as a range of striking variegated pearlray strings. Feel free to contact us to request samples of solid color Pearlray, or to find out more about custom colors and lead times.

1200 Pearlray

Our 1200 Pearlray is our lighter weight variant, but is still quite sturdy. The braided profile is much less noticeable in this thinner version, and this trimmer appearance make it a natural choice for tags on accessories, jewelry, and cosmetic products.

2400 Pearlray

2400 Pearlray is our heavy-weight option and its braided profile is much more noticeable, like a small tassel. Any shade that shows off the braided profile is suitable; it looks beautiful in warmer, darker tones.

COMPARISON: 2400 vs. 1200 Pearlray

Our heavyweight 2400 Pearlray, at left, requires a 5/32" hole, as shown at the top. Our lighter weight 1200 Pearlray, at right, requires a 1/8" hole, as shown at the bottom.

The braided profiles of both strings make for a distinctive presentation, and the choice between the two will obviously depend on the nature of the product. As with all digital representations of materials, seeing a material does not yield the same experience as holding a a physical sample.
